The Premier League reigning champions seems to have learnt from the Gunners when they recalled Francis Coquelin from loan, and the aforementioned Arsenal player eventually became the toast of their supporters with his stellar performance upon his unprecedented return.
The player was the latest Chelsea player amongst the numerous players sent on loan and is currently lacing his boots for Dutch outfit, Vitesse. However, the teenager revealed that a clause was added in his deal where he could be recalled in January should his services be needed.
He spoke to publication Voetbal International and told them that:
“It seems that I will stay here for a full year, but Chelsea can recall me in January and Vitesse can also send me back.”
Brown, 18, was an integral member of the Blues’ youth team that won the double, UEFA youth League and FA Youth cup.
He has been rated highly by Mourinho and is definitely a part of Chelsea’s future.
Some of the Blues starlets in the Eredivisie side include Dominic Solanke, Lewis Baker, and new summer acquisitions Nathan and Danilo Pantic.
