Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is willing to part ways with Bertrand Traore in order to finally land John Stones in January, according to The Sun (via Daily Star).
The Premier League champions pursued the 21-year-old all summer and saw four bids rejected as Everton stood firm, despite the Blues offering as much as £37 million, according to The Sun.
Stones even handed in a transfer request in an attempt to force through a move to Stamford Bridge, however, the Toffees did not budge after insisting that they would not sell the England international throughout the summer.
The Burkina Faso international is yet to make a first-team appearance for Chelsea this season but did impress on loan at Vitesse Arnhem last term. He scored 13 goals in the Eredivisie as well as making four assists for the Dutch side.
