Man United Round-Up: LVG reach agreement for Bundesliga superstar & United set to plot £45m bid

Man United agree terms with Arjen Robben

According to the Daily Express, Manchester United have already agreed to complete the signing of Bayern Munich superstar Arjen Robben in January, as the Dutchman was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford for the last several months.

The same sources claim that Man United boss Louis van Gaal is desperate to add pace to his team and Robben offers that, while he is also seen as a marquee addition. No fee has been finalised with Bayern, but it seems likely that if this report is true they’ll cash in on the 31-year-old.

After £32m summer signing Memphis Depay failed to impress the Red Devils coaching staff, it is believed that Robben will take his place in starting XI of Manchester United.

Man United are desperate to sign  top-rated English star

According to the reports from Givemesport, Manchester United are considering to get the signature of Jose Mourinho’s favourite English star John Stones, but Everton are not willing to negotiate with any club if the offer is below £45 million.

The 21-year-old Stones is rated as one of the finest young talents in the Premier League, so it’s not entirely surprising that Europe’s elite clubs are interested in his signature. As well as Manchester United, the duo of Barcelona and Chelsea have also been linked with the defender recently.

The Toffees have rejected three offers from Jose Mourinho’s side and it is believed that Man United and Chelsea will be the main contenders to sign the young sensation in January.
