Chelsea are planning on bringing Javier Hernandez back to the Premier League, according to ESPN.

The reigning champions are looking to bring in reinforcements in the coming transfer window in an attempt to stop the rot. Hernandez and Valencia forward Paco Alcacer are on that list.

Chicharito is thriving at Bayer Leverkusen after moving from Manchester United in the summer, scoring ten goals for the Bundesliga giants and becoming an instant favourite with fans.

The Mexican forward was a bit of a hero for United fans after joining in 2010 following an impressive World Cup. He scored 59 goals in 157 games (with a fair portion of those coming from the bench) during his time at Old Trafford.

Louis van Gaal never rated Chicharito and never gave him a chance. It would be interesting to see if he would be interested in the chance to prove the Dutchman wrong with a domestic rival.

Leverkusen aren’t interested in selling at the minute with the attacker being a huge success both on and off the pitch. One of the most popular footballers on social media, his move has given Leverkusen huge exposure.
