Done Deal: David De Gea sold, €40million fee agreed with Real Madrid – He will be presented on Tuesday
One of the longest running transfer sagas of the summer is soon to get over after renowned Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri claimed earlier today that Manchester United and Real Madrid have finally come to terms over the sale of David De Gea.
According to Palmeri, De Gea’s transfer fee will be closer to €40million as the La Liga giants are not willing to wait until next season to secure the 24-year-old keeper’s signature. Earlier, it was claimed that Manchester United are in no mood to negotiate a deal for De Gea and were willing to let the keeper walk away free next season. However, it seems as if Louis Van Gaal is looking to make a U-turn on his claims and want to ship the keeper in next three days before the transfer window shuts down.
